These terms apply when you use supercanin.com.au or buy from us. By placing an order you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy, which form part of these terms.

In these terms, "we", "us" and "Supercanin" mean Supercanin.

Nothing here limits your consumer rights

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If any part of these terms conflicts with those guarantees, the Australian Consumer Law prevails and that part does not apply.

Products and descriptions

We describe our products as accurately as we can. Because our treats are made from whole cuts of meat and air-dried rather than moulded or extruded, the size, colour, thickness and shape of individual pieces vary from pack to pack. Product photography is indicative. Natural variation of this kind is a feature of the product and is not a fault.

Weights are nominal and measured at packing. Air-dried products continue to lose a small amount of moisture over time.

Feeding, health and safety

Our products are complementary treats for dogs. They are not a complete and balanced diet and are not intended to replace your dog's regular food.

Always supervise your dog while they are eating a treat or chew, and always provide access to fresh water. Remove and discard any piece small enough to be swallowed whole. Chews and rawhide products carry a choking and obstruction risk, as all chews do.

Our products are intended for dogs only and are not for human consumption.

Nothing on this website is veterinary advice. If your dog has a medical condition, a history of pancreatitis or digestive trouble, an allergy, or dental problems, or if you are unsure whether a product suits them, speak to your vet before feeding it. If your dog becomes unwell, stop feeding the product and contact your vet.

Prices and payment

All prices are in Australian dollars. Prices may change at any time, but a change will never affect an order you have already placed and paid for.

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Payments are handled by our payment providers; we never see or store your full card details. Your order is not accepted until payment has been successfully processed.

We try hard to keep pricing accurate. If a pricing or product error is obvious and significant — for example a 1kg pack listed at a fraction of its cost — we may cancel the affected order rather than fulfil it, and we will refund you in full and tell you why. We will not do this simply because we would rather have charged more.

Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we dispatch it. We may decline or cancel an order, and refund you in full, where a product is unavailable, where we cannot deliver to your address, where payment cannot be verified, or where we reasonably suspect fraud or resale in breach of these terms.

Our wholesale sizes are sold for feeding, not for repackaging and resale under another name. If you would like to stock Supercanin, email us and we will talk properly.

Using this website

You may not interfere with the operation or security of the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it, scrape or copy it systematically, or use it for anything unlawful. If you create an account, keep your password secure — you are responsible for activity under your account.

Reviews and content you submit

If you send us a review, photo or comment, you confirm it is your own and that you are happy for us to publish it, in whole or in part, on our site and marketing channels without payment. We may decline or remove anything misleading, offensive, or unrelated to the product. We do not edit reviews to change their meaning, and we do not delete a review simply for being critical.

Our intellectual property

The Supercanin name, logo, packaging design, photography and website content belong to us or are used under licence. Please do not reproduce them commercially without our written permission. You are welcome to share our pages and images on social media.

Third-party links

Where we link to another website, we do so for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your information.

Our liability

Subject to the Australian Consumer Law and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to replacing it or refunding what you paid for it. Nothing in this clause limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page when you place your order is the version that applies to it. We will update the date at the top when we make a change.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria have jurisdiction. This does not deprive you of the protection of the consumer laws of the state or territory where you live.
